What is Class 2 Digital Signature

Class 2 Digital signature is the type of digital signature classified according to its purpose of usage. commonly all the digital signature is called as DSC or digital signature certificate.

Generally, class 2 DSC is used for following the purpose.

1. Income Tax e filings
2. company registration roc filing
3 Govt certificate approval
4. ESI , EPF registration
5. GST return filings

Class 2 can be sub classified into CLASS 2 WITH ENCRYPTION and CLASS 2 WITHOUT ENCRYPTION, class 2 DSC with encrypt option is widely used for govt officers for the approval process.

How to apply Digital Signature.

We had noticed DSC application issues, so we would like to clarify details required to process. Due to recent changes in DSC issuance process, there was major change resulting in additional work from our end and client end, so we request you to kindly note the below points for smooth processing.

OTP method

1. Aadhar card linked with active mobile no to receive OTP
2. PAN card
3 Client E-Mail, Client Mobile No.

Form Process

1. Aadhar card / DL/ Voter Id
2. PAN card
3 Client E-Mail, Client Mobile No
4. Passport size photo
5. Signed application form

Points Requiring attention

1. Video recording is common for all methods
2. Applications sent with improper address proof may be rejected later at the head-office level, so as a precautionary step we request you to get properly scanned proof using the scanner or “FAST SCANNER” android app
3. The customer should be intimated to share OTP
4. OTP process availability is subject to GOVT AADHAAR authentication network.
